FRESAS!!! QUE RICO!!!
¿Te has preguntado alguna vez como es el ADN de una fresa? Créeme tampoco yo lo habría buscado pero en el laboratorio tuvimos que extraerlo de la fruta. Fue un proceso extraño y fascinante. Así que en este reportaje te enseñaré como se hace.
Primero se trituran 2 o 3 fresas dentro de una bolsa “ziploc” evitando que queden trozos grandes. Luego se añadía la solución “buffer” compuesta de líquido de fregar (Down), sal y agua destilada, que no podía tener burbujas ya que no permitiría ver el ADN. Esto resistiría los cambios del pH. Dejando reposar la solución durante 10 minutos para que el “buffer” hiciera efecto, todas mirábamos la bolsa esperando que algo pasara… pero no paso nada así que no te emociones. Jeje. Al finalizar los 10 minutos se filtraba la solución utilizando un vaso, y una servilleta como colador. Cuando acumulábamos al menos 5ml en el vaso extraíamos unos 3ml vaciándolo en un tubo de ensayo con alcohol etílico frío. El alcohol serviría para conservar el ADN obtenido. Luego de tener la solución de la fresa con el alcohol se vería el ADN como una sustancia blancuzca y viscosa. Con un agitador atraparíamos el ADN colocándolo en una capsula para que este fuese observado por el microscopio.
Ver esa sustancia por el microscopio fue realmente fascinante. Verdaderamente valió la pena preguntar por el ADN de una fresa.
